I understand the why, but what’s the point of featuring incompatible apps right next to each other?
This isn’t my normal thing, but Apple is entering the game market in a few months with it’s latest Apple TV. The reason the, It Came from Japan, section is a big deal is because some of the largest game developers are based in Japan.
Apple may not be ready for prime time entering the gaming arena if they can update Apple.com with the new Apple TV, but not check if any of the apps are compatible. This may look subtle but anyone with some analytical background knows this is a conflicting oversight.
Anyone concerned I’m being harsh because most the games on that page do work may be surprised that this isn’t anything new. Capcom, Sega, and Square-Enix have a habit of not updating these games and pulling them from the store. So what’s the big gain here?
The good news is you don’t have to be perfect, no one, or any company is. Each game developer and Apple make tons of money regardless of the oversight. Just another reminder that even the best can make mistakes and not to overdevelop projects.
